Snowman Christmas Craft

This snowman Christmas craft is easy to make! It is a great craft for any age/grade level of elementary school aged children. It is a nice gift for children to give away or decorate with.

Supplies That You Will Need

1 Clay pot that is 5 1/2" tall
1 Clay pot that is 2 1/2" tall
White paint
1 White baby sock
3 Small gold bells, buttons or ornaments
Black permanent marker
Hot glue
Ribbon
Orange clay
2 Black pipe cleaners

How To Put Your Snowman Together

Paint the outside of your clay pots white. You just need to paint the tops and the sides of each pot. There is no need to paint the inside of the pots. Once the paint has dried turn both of the pots upside down. Hot glue the small pot on top of the big pot.

Next, hot glue the ribbon around the snowman's neck. (The neck of the snowman will be where the two pots come together) Now take your black permanent marker and draw the eyes and the mouth of your snowman.

Take a small amount of orange clay and shape it into a cone. This will be the nose of your snowman. Hot glue the nose just above the snowman's mouth.

Take one baby sock and stretch it over the top of the small pot for his hat. Hot glue one of your bells to the toe of the sock.

Next, glue the remaining two bells and one ornament (or button) on the front of the snowman. Then take your two black pipe cleaners and hot glue them on the sides of the snowman for the arms. Twist the ends of each pipe cleaner into two fingers.

That is it! A cute, easy and very nice snowman Christmas craft for the kids to do.
