Learn How To Make A Bow

Learn how to make a bow by a professional! Watch the video below over and over until you get it. Once you learn how, you can use a variety of ribbons. You can make many different sizes and use them for many different things.

When you go to buy your ribbon, notice if it has wire in it or not. Ribbon that has a thin wire along the edges stands up nicer. It is easier to work with too. Wire ribbon does cost more than ribbon that does not have wire. The wire in a ribbon helps the bow not to be floppy and helps the loops to be shaped easier than ribbon that does not have wire.

Making bows is a great learned skill. You can put them in wreaths, on packages and presents, on a Christmas tree, in garland, in flower arrangements, make them to go in your hair...the list is endless!

Bow making takes practice. But if you learn how, it will save you money over buying one in the store. Learning to make your own allows you to customize your projects since you can chose your own ribbon and the size.

What You Will Need

Ribbon
Sizzors
Wire or pipe cleaners

In the video below, Beverly will show you how to make a perfect bow. She is a professional and has taught many people the craft of bow making over the years. Grab yourself some ribbon, wire (or pipe cleaners) and practice and follow along. Enjoy!
